Whips in endurance

no matter how you rearrange the words I can't get whips out of endurance. I 
can get acne! I can get durn! but no whips or crops! But if we carry whips I 
would think it would be for the beating the snot out of the person in front 
of you for the last 3 miles going at a turtle trot! or for the ungrateful 
creatin who insists his horse who is obviosly worn out that he can keep 
going. then you saddle the person up and ride them around camp and whip and 
whip and whip until they can't go any further. (Sorry little steam blowing 
there)
or to keep Howard in line!
Carla (I use my whip to keep the cobwebs down!)
Ansata (wish she would get one of them fly wisk thingys!)
haley (mom has used a whip one time...to get a fly off my rump!)
Rob (carla has used the whip one time.....)
