hip-replacement surgery

        Hi there, I have a friend that rides and is a trainer and is to have hip-replacement surgery on the 18th of Oct. Her Dr. has said "no horseback riding" ever again. She is now considering alternative posibilites as riding and training are her livelyhood. Have any of you had this surgery and what have your results been? My friend is not on-line but I will print out all your responses for her.
