Hi. To tell you the truth, in our stalls, we use the oil that gets changed 
from our cars and a hot sauce mixture. That works on the chewing of the wood 
in stalls and on the corners of the barn. We put the horses on the new 
pasture and they started on the trees. I didn't care for the idea of putting 
car oil and hot sauce (any Tabasco will do. I used Ass Kickin' Hot Sauce too) 
on the trees. So, I called the Extension Office and they said it (car oil and 
gas mix) will do some damage in the future and to use another kind of oil 
like veg. or corn oil to stick. Works like a charm!!!!! Deb
