I had to laugh when I read this.......last spring we did a trail ride out
behind a big ranch, that took us onto very narrow levee's between rice
fields.  I was riding the fairly new Arab/mustang and ponying the yearling.
A couple of time some fish jumped up really high, and really startled the
mare!  I could just feel her looking for a good exit spot-but nothing but
water all around!  Fortunately she held it together-the yearling could have
cared less!
