I don't know about equine insurance covering chiropractic.
"HMO" stands for something like "Health Maintenance Organization" - the acronym
is so established in the US that I forget what it actually stands for. A HMO is
a company that contracts to provide full medical services to subscribers for a
set annual cost, including preventative care.
