You're likely right--kinda like microwaves.  But I've spent a bit of time in 
Texas in my trailer in hot times, and those 12-volt fans and open windows 
make it pretty liveable. And as another poster pointed out, you don't have 
such an extreme when you go back outside.  (My trailer also has a nearly 
white roof, which I'm sure helps as well...)
