Riding with Music (funny)

When my horse was younger and we were conditioning for 100's, 
I used to ride with a walkman. One day we were trotting along, 
it was sunny and I was wearing sunglasses, and the trail went 
under some low (but manageable) branches - just stand in the 
stirrups and duck. What I didn't see was the loop of grape vine 
that was hanging from the branches.....
In an instant, I had my neck in a noose and was reclining on 
Trent's rump (which was still trotting), and was lifted off of 
him and set down on the ground. 
The sunglasses were still on my face, and the music kept 
playing.;-) Except for a nasty rope burn on my neck, nothing 
was damaged, and Trent waited for me. We continued on our 32 
mile training ride.
