We have an Icelandic Horse with a lower limb angle deformity (offset &
crooked cannons).  Our vet told us she could x-ray to tell if the plates are
closed, and if are we could still do corrective shoeing.  He was 6 and the
plates were closed, since your horse is only 2 it might be worth checking
with your vet...
