RE: FEI and spurs
If you check the latest version of the rulebook, issued in Jan 2000, Article
818.3 clearly states that spurs are prohibited. There is no discussion at
all of the type. It may be that they used to be allowed. But my copies of
the FEI rules just say that they are prohibited.

Just for general info - spurs ARE allowed in FEI, but they
must be the blunt type english spurs. Roweled spurs are
illegal.
