Re: RC: trees

READ "PLAYING GOD IN YELLOWSTONE" must reading for EVERYONE who wants a
better understanding of how "we've" manged to mess things up during the past
80 years....then head on out here and help fight these fires...I'm driving
equipment for the firefighters now...I get to see the fires first hand....we
had one fire burn through an area that had been fried by a huge fire in the
sixties...everyone thought when it got there it would stop or at least slow
down---it went right on through like a freight train---went through the
clear cuts, the thinned areas..the houses....whent through EVERYTHING...No
amount of management would have changed the behaviour of that particular
fire---when God decides to have a pyro moment---watch out!
