Yeah, but that brings up the question if, even in 
LDs, should you even really be "competing" on a horse under five years?  
Seems even if the four-year-olds are at a temporary disadvantage, they'll reap 
an extra reward later in their careers for not having overdone their 
youngster.  I dunno, it just doesn't seem like that much to ask, 
IMO.

Just another point to add. Plus as said before by others, multiday LD's 
  are already
happening.
