Re: Re: Dead horse alive-TEVIS part1-IMPORTANT
I wonder myself about the unavailability of a rescue unit. Perhaps there was
and we are not getting the whole story. But more than that, I wonder why
Denise was not out scrambling around all night if need be to find her horse.
No way could I have gone to a motel in Sacramento knowing that my horse was
in serious trouble, possibly in much pain or dead. I think most riders I
know would have been turning over every stone to get a rescue or search
party together. And I also know from experience that that is not a difficult
thing to do when among endurance riders. So before we get all hot and
accusatory toward Tevis ride management, we can get "the rest of the story".
