Trish,
It took over a week for the horses to ignore the smell of the garlic in the
feed, it still takes my breath...I started out with a very small amount in a
pound or so of grain, and slowly increased it when their bucket was empty
for the next feeding. If you stay an watch them eat they will win and you
will change the bucket, so just leave as though everything's normal and they
will think so too.
