The GSDs are definitely smart, but not even close to a border collie (sometimes that's a good thing, sometimes not)<g>. Maybe some bloodlines are different, mine are thrilled to be given anything new and fun to do---nowadays it's more a matter of finding things they are physically capable of. One is getting pretty old at 12 1/2 (but still ambitious as a puppy and never mind the arthritis) and the other has cardiac problems that *he* keeps insisting aren't there. Sounds alot like our horses, don't they? susan g ----- Original Message ----- From: Kathy Mayeda <kathy_mayeda@atce.com> To: Susan Garlinghouse <suendavid@worldnet.att.net>; ckellerfarm <ckellerfarm@stellarnet.com>; Lif Strand <fasterhorses@gilanet.com>; Ridecamp <ridecamp@endurance.net> Sent: Thursday, August 03, 2000 1:27 PM Subject: RE: Re: Re: Re: Re: Arabic Name Help > This is interesting because my experience with German Shephards > is that they were very obedient (at least with the bloodlines I knew) > and smart.
