Hi Everyone,
 
 
WOW!!! What a race!!!
 
It is really exciting, the heavyweights took the day!!!
 
When the heavyweights reached the top of the mountain, Jerry was in the lead,
Kevin Waters was a minute behind him, Earle and Boyd were very close
 
4 of the Heavyweights were in the top 5!!
 
Roger Taylor had to replace 4 tires on his dually, he took the
water tank up to the top of the mountain for the horses.
 
 
Ride Results:
 
WINNER JERRY FRUTH &JABASK KNIGHT( better known as)" IRENE"
 
BEST CONDITION JERRY FRUTH & JABASK KNIGHT "IRENE"
 
1ST HEAVYWEIGHT JERRY FRUTH
 
Jerry  was the first rider down after doing the 20 mile mountain loop,he said he
was off his horse's back, he walked a lot...it took him five hours to do that loop...
The rocks....Jerry said it made the OD look like kindergarten....
This is so cool...last year Jerry and Irene won the 50 mile National Championship,
and Jerry was first Heavyweight....This year he took it all!!!

28 Starters, 16 finished....We had no treatment horses, 12 horses were
pulled for lameness, 1 horse metobolic, and 2 for overtime..... 
 
Last night we all went to the Museum of the American West for the 
reception for the all NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIERS,
all the riders had a nice time....
 
Today we are going to register the 50's tomorrow is going to be a exciting
ride!!! We have alot of competitive riders here!!
