Arabic Name Help

OK, I guess this is endurance related because I'm trying to name my current 
prospect (we do our first ride in 3 weeks - CTR ). He is not yet registered 
so I have free rein. He was named Moon Shadow by the mare owner. His barn 
name is Shadow. I found some websites with Arabic names, and Zilla means 
shadow. Question - would that be spelled the same for male or female? I know 
the strain names are different, like kuhaylah/kuhaylan. I cant seem to find 
any more info on this.
