Checking on the status of a friend injured in Gainesville, GA

I understand that a friend, Ralph "Buddy" Gleason was injured in a fall this past weekend in Gainesville.  Apparently the horse shied at a dog, either reared and fell over or fell on his rider.  Word out is that he broke his back.  Could someone let us know details?  Thanks so much, Jim and Julie Capaldi, SC
