Complete Beginner

I have a 4 year old arab gelding and a 14 yr old 1/2 arab mare.  I used to show hunter/jumpers, but am burnt out on that, so I thought, why not endurance.  I have arabs after all.  The only problem is I know absolutely nothing about it.  I looked at the notices for all the events and did not even understand the descriptions.  It is a new language to me.  I need basic, baby, beginner help trying to understand the very basic facts about it.  I would appreciate any help.  My e-mail address is emb47@hotmail.com
