I'm sure your vet will tell you that before you try and make the foot look
normal, you will have to make sure the it conforms to the coffin bone.
Another words you can do more damage by changing the foot if the horse is
really a club footed horse. Most club footed horses do very well in
endurance as long as the shoeing matches up with the coffin bone alignment.
The only way you can do this is first xray the foot before making any changes.
