I was also at Robinson towards the end, horses being treated were towards
the front of the pack.
I was also at M.B. when the late riders came in and they extended their time
30 minutes. these horses did not need treatment, even with having came out
of that canyon at a faster than normal pace.
I then went to Forest Hill, all horses were in when I got there, the horses
being treated were not the horses at the back of the pack.
I can never understand how somebody can comment on something when they were
not there. And have never been to a Tevis vet check.
The vets at the Tevis are wonderful, hard working, conciencious vets. But
they cannot control the rider out on the trail!
A ride like the Tevis needs cutoff times, and if you have a horse that can
(you hope) just make cut off times then you have no business entering. A
smart rider allows time for the unexpected.
