I don't know but looking at it logically, I'm hard pressed to believe
it.  First of all, I'd think you'd have to put an awful lot of
pennies into drinking water to make a difference.  Remember, the
water will be either a big mass (water trough) or very often changed
(bucket) - so just a few pennies wouldn't affect either much. 
Secondly, lots of people have copper water pipes in their houses &
even their barns.  Anyone notice if there's any relationship between
human PMS (or lack of it) with copper water pipes?  Lif
