Hi Vicki,
sorry, some misinterpretation here ;-). No, if you buy a real Podium
saddle,
you get all what you need - the tree, the girthing, stirrup-straps,
stirrups
etc.etc. You then can adjust the fitting by changing some of the padding
-
like Orthoflex. You can put different foams into the "booties".
When I said I build one on my own, I meant: I get an original tree (its
a
plastic tree which is hollow inside), I take different panels, positions
them
to have a perfect fitting for Ninja's back, make a different girthing,
build
the stirrups straps plus fender. So my "Podium" is like no other Podium!
