Crews always suffer during extremes of temp, more than
riders, I think.

The low was 30F at Jacksonville;  There was no wind to speak of;
One dresses forthe weather;  (and Camps ;out with what is
necessary)

I was up by 5 am, assisted the starter with the hundreds ;  
cared for my horse, and saddled for the fifty.

The day warmed into the  low sixtys early on--what more can one 
ask?

My point is you do what you gotta do if you want to play
the game--and whining about a little weather is just
not the way to have fun.
