Betty, tho' I haven't tried the Synergist saddles, I can vouch for the Reactorpanel saddle. I now am the proud owner of one. This is the first saddle my mare has been able to wear comfortably. She runs slightly downhill and with the different adjustments to this saddle we were able to eliminate the problem of my saddle wanting to go forward on me. I am finding that my mare is having some stifle problems, but not because of the saddle directly. My mare is now reaching under herself and using her back end so much better that she is having muscle fatigue. The vet. said to just ride her and give her time to develop those muscles better. And her trot has improved remarkably. Yes, the saddle is somewhat pricey, but it will adjust to about any horse, so I figure I am way ahead of the game by purchasing only one saddle for many horses, not many saddles for one horse. Just my two cents worth.
