Suitability patterns are great, i've used lots of them.
here is their site:
http://www.suitability.com/index.htm
I make blankets, shipping boots, saddle bags, quarter sheets. I bought an
old machine (40 yrs?) from an upholstery shop ($200). It is a Union Special
industrial and it works great. Only has straight stitch, and no back
stitch, but I have adapted.
I love making my own stuff, as it is custom for me exactly how i want it.
