Kandhy,
I have a miniature that was just 5 mo. old when she was weaned and came to
live here. She joined my 2 angora does who were also young. They bond
immediately. For about $75 your neighbor can get one too. Works the same
way with sheep, etc. Fawn was bought as a "guard" donkey (HA--just an
excuse--she was TOO cute to say no to) and they thrive having other animals
to look after, protect and herd about. Good luck.
