Re: Tevis stats
I noticed that a larger percentage of mares and
stallions did not finish as compared to those who did finish. That is, of
the 127 horses that finished, 29 were mares and 3 were stallions. Of the
132 DNF there were 47 mares and 6 stallions. Has anyone ever looked
at this in past years?
OK, I know.. . I'm probably starting a war of geldings vs. mares vs.
stallions in endurance.

Just
starting to fiddle around so far.
Top Ten Riders
Average
lifetime miles: 3050
Average completion rate (since 1996):
85.6%
Top Ten Horses
Average lifetime miles:
1370
Average completion rate (since 1996): 80.6%
Add another
100 miles on!
The horse with the least miles was Master Motion (aka
Split) with 100 (and
100% completion), the horse with the most miles
(and only 3k mile horse in
the top ten) was Belesemo Tradition with
3,325 with 97%
completion. (doesn't include anything recent that
might not be posted yet)
Rider with the most mileage was Dolly with
6,345, least is Tom.....and I am
not sure if the Tom Johnson in the
yearbook is him, so he either has 210 or
910 miles (which in either
case, is still the least miles).
Two of the top ten horses were from
Utah, the rest from California.
more later, the other 249 are gonna
take awhile
