RE: uh-oh, insulted farrier
How much does this farrier mean to you? I would do all of this for my
current farrier! Most of the other farriers I would have just blown off.
I have had a difficult time finding a farrier I could "live with" let alone
like his work! Most of the farriers in our area tend to be on the
"princess" side, charge a lot, and are very opinionated. That doesn't mean
it's right.

grovel, buy him gifts, offer to mow his yard, send him "I'm sorry"

massage his ego, claim you had been in an auto accident the day before
and received a blow to the head...you don't remember saying a thing, and
if all else fails fake a heart attack for sympathy.
