I have heard lots of stories of horses that have severe colic soon after
being wormed, and I would buy the "kill-off" reaction for that. I do fecal
checks and only worm if I find eggs. I alternate ivermectin, panacur and
fenbendazole. (-without checking my records). I got concerned about the
encrysteds, so did half the horses with Quest.... but look again at the
dates., they are at least 120+++ days out (except for the stallion, and we
know that he had a tumor on his brain stem). isn't it supposed to be out of
their system by than? I wonder if more problems would be found if you
looked past the standard time frame.
