If your tree is flexing in
the middle, it is not doing its job. If it hasn't actually broken in half,
it is at least bending badly...not what a tree is designed to do. They are
supposed to distribute the rider's weight along the length of the bars so as not
to put pressure on any one point on the horse's back. If there are already
white marks on your horses' backs, there is damage.
I have heard of this happening in two other popular brands of
endurance saddles. I would look for a saddle more suited to your weight
distribution needs.
