kissing spines/aching back

Hi group,

as I posted earlier, I was pulled at our National Championship because of a
mild lameness in Ninja's hind right.
From some xrays done several years ago I know that Ninja has kissing
spines. I ask a horsey physio therapist about the relationship between the
kissing spines and the lameness. She said the it could be like that. So now
my question: Who has experiences with kissing spines at an endurance horse?
Ninja is 13 now, is there a chance to cure/help him so we can compete some
more years? I will build him a new saddle, based on the Podium-tree. I will
leave enough space for his spine and also have a large weight bearing area.
Any more ideas??? I would like to compete in some races this years, just to
have my full qualifications for next year.

Thanks in advance,

Wolfgang + Ninja (of course)
