Bitless bridle?

Does anyone have knowledge about or experience with the bitless bridle?
I saw one at the Liberty Run this year, and at first appearance the
advantage over a hackamore, which I am currently using on my gelding, is
the absence of the metal sidepieces that obstruct drinking from a
bucket. My thought is that since my guy responds well in the hackamore
the change over to a bitless bridle should be simple. I am just wanting
to gather as much information as I can before I invest in one. I have
perused all the information at the website  <www.bitlessbridle.com> and
it seems to make sense. I just want to find out from people who have
used one what their thoughts are.
