s. Isn't the word "breed" something that only applies to domesticated animals?

Since I had Mr. Webster available, this is what he says: (we'll fast-forward on past the 12 verbs): " Genetic- 13) a relatively homogenous group of animals within a species, developed and maintained by man; 14) race, lineage, strain; 15) sort, kind, group"---guess one of those will fit most anything we've talked about. ??
