Fibrosis Myopathy?

Just vetted a horse yesturday that didn't pass....9 yr old, has done 3 -  100 
milers this last year.  Was diagnosed with Fibrosis Myopathy (sp?) in one 
inside upper hind leg.  Has anyone experienced this and did it progress?
