Re: Re: Type A horses/good or bad?
I have to say that I as a rider always choose horses with Type A
personalities. I seem to have a Type C or D type of personality and when
riding a quarter horse, paint, or appy have actually put them to sleep. I
do not like that trait im myself......but it is there anyway. A Type A
personality in a horse, however never goes to sleep on me, but scales down
to a manageable level. I find that after riding a Type A horse their
personality changes after a year or so, becoming more Type B. For this
particular reason I always choose ex-race horeses, preferably ones who have
been abandoned. They give me a better ride, and seem to be grateful for a
home..
