Energy expenditure
It has been studied and exercise is suggested in smaller amounts a few
times a day as opposed to a long time once a day. The reason is the
body metabolism stays up about 30 minutes or so after a workout. So by
exercising a couple of times a day for shorter periods the metabolism
actually stays active longer and this is helpful if weight loss is a
goal in exercise. Louise
