I know what you mean. My husband often accusses me of running a Geriatric Ward. I just won't sell my old friends, they have a home till death do us part. At one time I had 6 horses ranging from the age of 29 to 49 years old. When the 49 year old died all the children that he taught to ride came to his funeral. They have been loyal friends and family members for years, they have taken care of my children and myself for years and I can not stand the thought of what would happen to them when I sell them. We are getting into our second generation of Geriatic Horses but most are still very useful horses but are old enough I would not consider the sell of them.
