Stirrup rotater thingies

I have seen them in several of the horse catalogs, but the only thing I have
heard about them is bad.....
they dig into your ankles!

I don't know if that would happen to a distance rider in EZ Rider type
stirrups, though.....we seem to have a tendency to ride differently than the
"arena set" <g>
