Re: RC: Russian Arabs- I have a Snotsdale survivor
My Russian on top and Polish on bottom (no pun
intended, folks) is a Snotsdale survivor. He gets
panicky in claustrophobic situations and I always
protect him from those. I don't think he would be
that way, if he hadn't been starved as a foal, beaten
growing up and neglected, as he was. It's a small
small world, when it comes to Arabs in AZ. I got him
as a 4 yr old and have had him for 10 years. He
trusts me completely (99% of the time, now).
However, he doesn't even look at plastic bags or
anything that he has checked out before. His motto
seems to be: "if it didn't kill me then, it won't
now!" So, he takes very good care of himself on the
trail and is a great exp. gelding to take new horses
out.
The only thing he can't handle, although he tries, is
the wind. Things move, when the wind blows. Could be
cougars, donchaknow?
