Re: water tank fish??
An easy way to combat this is a cheap battery powered air pump and a
little tubing. Add an air stone (total cost, maybe $10-15) and your
scrubbers will happily scrub through the hottest days of the year.
You only need to do this when the air is very still, hot, and/or
humid. In other words, when the oxygen transfer ratio is likely to
drop.

My problem has been keeping the big ones alive when it gets really hot. Not
that the water gets that hot in the big tank, but they seem to run out of
air. I lost 3 big ones (6-8 inches & fat) over Memorial Day weekend. At
least I have 2 of their "babies" from last year to keep the one remaining
one company!
