Tom,

You've NEVER stood in a mountain stream in the
spring???  There sure IS naturally flowing ice
water!!!!!!

Your method of ice/alcohol/wraps is interesting.  It
would still take too much water at some vet checks
where every drop is reserved for drinking, but it
would be worth trying elsewhere.
