I was in the makeup trailer the first time I met him and he walked in after
a day of shooting, in his riding pants and boots, took off his shirt and I
damn near fainted!  I would go and see a movie about hog farming if Mel was
in it!!
As for being extras, in "The Patriot" there are hundreds of horses that
worked incredibly hard for the duration of shooting.  Those guys camped out
from July until Jan., in tents! In high 90 degree days and low teen
mornings.  We worked in pouring down rain at midnight in 40 degree weather.
I don't think I would be an estra even for Mel
