interference boots

Man, am I ever sick of picking tiny sharp foxtails and stickers out of the 
felt lining of my interference boots.   I always feel like I need to get 
every little one - seems like a major annoyance to the horse to have them 
jabbing at him w/every step.

Any body have any better ideas?   He really has to wear the boots :-(
