I'm not Carol, but I grew up riding in Florida. It is
simply too hot & humid to ride this time of year. I
lived around Ocala (north central Florida) and 98* F
and 100% humidity wasn't unusual.
We would ride after dark when it would be just as
humid, but might drop into the upper 70's or low 80's.
We generally backed off from riding hard if the
combined humidity and temperature equaled more than
180.
