Beaver Meadows Ride Change

The ride has been moved from Beaver Meadows @ Red Feather Lakes to
the Old Horse Ranch in North Park near Walden; revised info on the
Beaver Meadows ride should be posted to the website tonight
http://www.goride.org.

You will love this location - the basecamp is where the 1st vet check
on the Day 3 of the Rocky Mountain Ride is held - it is beautiful,
and the footing is excellent!  Very few rocks and lot's of water!

It will be held at the Old Horse Ranch/The Adams Ranch LLC./The
Blandon's/Don & Judy's which is at the east end of County Road 8 in
North Park, about half-way between Walden & Cowdrey on Colorado
Highway 125.  CR 8 is dirt, and is 4.5 miles north of Walden and 4.8
miles south of Cowdrey (or 1.4 miles south of the giant powerlines),
and only runs east from 125.  Stay on the main dirt road past the 1st
ranch house and the giant oil storage tank; the road will split, but
follow the sign for 8 and stay east/right.  You will go 6.7 miles on
CR 8 from 125 to CR 8A, which splits to the east/left at Eagle Hill;
turn onto 8A and go 1/2 mile to another split - stay southeast/right
and go through the silver gate into camp.  There will be signs to
assist you from 125.

Everything else is the same.  The distances will still be
15/25/50/75/100. The ride will be a series of loops all coming back
into camp.  Horse & people water will be provided.  Dinner will be
served on Saturday night.

Please still pre-register, but due to changes and delays, there will
be no late entry fee this time.

No health papers needed if you are coming from in-state.
