These are endurance miles and you are right, that does not include training.  
This does not count the two Chief Joseph awards she won on Ringo.  That is 
1,000 hours logged in the saddle, plus 1,000 miles endurance and 1,000 miles 
NATRC.  Trilby and Ringo won two of those.
