Hi. I can't resist adding to what Truman said, and seconding it.
I am breeding Missouri Foxtrotters for endurance and find them to be tough, 
but pretty laid back.  Here where it is hot and humid, I look for a leaner 
muscled horse, and keep those of my fillies that look like they might do the 
job.
Have some geldings for sale occasionally.
