Alergic Reaction - Help!!!

Hi Ride Campers... Need help in a hurry,
 its 10 PM Texas time & I just got off the phone with the vet of my dear
friends Stephanie & Lawrence Maynard.  They were having trubl keeping weight
on an end. horse of theirs & I suggested the 5 day treatment of panacur.
They started it yesterday (Tuesday) & after giving the second dose 2day, the
horse has broken out in hives, temp 103, skin hypersensitive to the touch,
chest & throat latch swollen & doesn't want to move.  The vet is not certain
it is the panacur, but obviously knows its a reaction to something.  Has
anyone out there experienced any reaction like this to panacur or
"anything"....   I just panacure about 20 horses on my place & no one
reacted.  REally interested in any opinions on this or what to do for
treatment.
