Re: Riding alone?
Dear Linda,
I say "GO FOR IT"! I enjoy riding with a friend sometimes, but every now and
then it is good for the horse and good for me to ride our own ride. You are
able to select the pace which best suits you and your horse without having
to be concerned that you are holding back or pushing your riding partner.
And never fear. You will find yourself pacing with any number of other
riders who may welcome your company and you theirs. The best part of this
partnership is that you can back off or move up your pace at your desire.
You can stay in the vet check area longer if you want, or be ready to hop on
and ride out when your time comes without having to be concerned about
another rider and horse being ready to go. Best of all, you get to meet
wonderful riders whom you probably would not have met had you been riding
with a buddy.
Try it....you'll like it.
Good luck
Pat Super
