Had interesting thing happen on this last weekend. A young horse I have
had never been hauled in anything but a 20-foot base fifth wheel stock
trailer until hauled in our straight load Sundowner (not the typical,
however, in that it has no metal manger but has feed bags and bar at
chest so horses have a lot of space and room to spread their legs). She
hauls beautifullly, never know she is there, and is very relaxed.
Anyway, last weekend she was hauled in a slant load (no divider) and was
very warm and almost clammy after a 20 minute ride. She did not appear
to be nervous but I also noted when I put her in there how one could feel
clostrophobic (sp?). Just my 2 cents. Carol
